Wu-Tang Clan - The 8 Diagrams (Ltd. Ed.) CD+DVD
Wu-Tang Clan - The 8 Diagrams (Ltd. Ed.) CD+DVD

8 diagrams gets a 5, January 28, 2008

RZA has gotten a lot of hype for the production of this album. However, I can't HEAR any reason why. Credit is due for the tribute to ODB track other than that the only other clean and hip beats come from the Wolves track. The flows seem a little to nice for Wu-Tangs hard east coast style. Maybe next time. Sooner than later too!

Eligh & Magi (TS) - The Brothers Grime CD
Eligh & Magi (TS) - The Brothers Grime CD

True GRIME usa style!, December 3, 2007

Eligh and Magi have done it! The Brothers Grime is true success of an American rapper being able to get down with GRIME music. Who better than Eligh and his iconic ultra fast mc style to create a perfect marriage with the GRIME'S doubletime beats music as he does in Brothers Grime. Even the instrumental tracks are beautifully put together. Some of the tracks are so clean and fresh on this CD I would say Eligh has almost out Grimed some UK mc's! "LA LA big city with dreams" track is off the hook. To add to the package theirs a sick remix of Justin Timberlake's "my Love" with samples of Timbaland's beats over Eligh & Magis own beats. Do yourself a favor and purchase this masterpiece!

3 Melancholy Gypsys - Grand Caravan to the... CD

Black Dutch, November 28, 2007

This album is definitely different and unique in its own way. These 3 members of the Living Legends definitely know how to write a true Rat style. With songs like "signs" and "Beautiful mind" its clear that the lyrics are drawn from reality situation. The bass is lacking as far as some of the beats go however they make up for it in the lyrics. Beautiful mind is a fav..... Alot of Man boys can learn from this album.

Blame One - Priest, Thief + Wizard CD

Wizard MC, November 28, 2007

Blame One is a lyrical mastermind. This album's fresh beats with nice piano samples remind me that hip hop is still alive. Staying true to the ethical hustling style of a real Mc is definitely evident in this album. Raw, rigid and almost rare style these days. A must have fo sho!

The Grouch - F*ck The Dumb CD
The Grouch - F*ck The Dumb CD

Classic, November 28, 2007

This album has helped define Grouch as an artist. The simple clean melodic beats set as a perfect background for that classic Living Legend style. Tracks such as "Nothing Changing" and "Once Upon a Rhyme" show the real passion for his craft and struggle that he has gone through. None the less this one's a classic and everyone should have it in their music collection! A Bumper Indeed! Your friends will be like.....damn what's that your listening to? Can you get me some.
