Atmosphere - The Family Sign

While it's true that newer Atmosphere has a distinct sound in comparison to older Atmosphere, I have yet to hear an album by these dudes that isn't awesome. On Family Sign, Slug brings the flawless lyricism you've come to expect, his verses come across both deeply personal and highly relatable. Ant's production is easily on par with anything he's put out to date, and a step above nearly anything else you'll find out there today, even in the alternative hip hop community. The only other producer out there I'd put on par with Ant is Sabzi from Blue Scholars & Common Market.
The two tracks that stood out the most to me were Became and Your Name Here. However, I'm sure that as with all Atmosphere albums, repeat listenings will reveal new favorites.
Definitely pick this one up!
