"This album is dope. I actually listened to it a bunch more and love it. Every once in a while I speak too soon. Its funny, Madlib is definitely one of those cats you really have to give a few chances to. I didn't like the Unseen the first time I heard it either and it ended up being one of my all ti..." "It's been a good year for hip-hop, and even better for underground hip-hop. I've been keeping close tabs on all the hip-hop that has dropped thus far in 2007, and I can assure you that Blu & Exile "Below the Heavens" will be in my interchangeable top 3 for the year; sitting comfortably beside Blue S..." "Sleeps second solo album and his best work right behind the Chicharones-When pigs fly album. I got this album thinking it would be meh but infact was blown away at how good it was. I can listen to this album start to finish with only skipping one track. And it's a horrible techno track added out ..." Read more

"While the overall album is an average hiphop release it does have a killer track that makes this cd a must for the collection. Track 11-Little People is a banger and makes the whole ablum worth the money. It's an easy listening album with a killer party track thrown in too.

Album 7/10

"This is an album that you can put on and easily sit through the whole thing without skipping a track. Sleep and Josh Martizes best work to date. "Little by Little" is the stand out track for me that gets repeat. Other stand out tracks are "Can't find the time and Guys Like Me"

Great album

"Beans and Rice, while far from cuisine status, is simply some shit to hold you down till the new Grouch full release comes out. Grouch is my boy and I've never been disappointed with any of his projects, and though I'm not shittin' my pants over this cd, its still pretty fresh. Folks may knock so..." Read more

"Third installment in the Extra Credit Series and I'm happy to say that this album is the best one yet. Lucky comes with it. Won't get too in depth, but this album is smooth as hell with just enough boom bap to keep your volume knob workin. Only down side to it is "Nevermind" where the last part o..." Read more

"Good album. Rodan and Megalon spit hot fire all over the place. The production ranges from good to great with only 1 or 2 beats that seemed sub-par.

MF Doom's contribution on the production side is very good, but X-Ray (who I'd never heard of) provides the lions share of the beats which are cons..."

"I havent been this excited about an album in years. #1 this is Exiles best work to date by far. Exile is the producer to watch in the next 5 years for sure. I could see him blowing up big time.
