Leaving Records' Ssaliva is a young man from belgium by the name of François Boulanger who makes ace H-Pop in the vein of Matrix Metals, with just a hint of Hype Williams' dream grease. 'Thought Has Wings' opens to the motivational Yacht pose positivity of 'Best Lose The Dream', while 'Teenage Brain' encapsulates the melancholy of The Cure with the slyness of Jimmy Ferraro. 'Laker' is cuter, woozier, more akin to Ghost Box's Belbury Poly records and 'Crayloa' heads cross-eyed into a sludgy dream dungeon sequence. The tropical dub-soaked 'Moth To The Flame' could be easily overdubbed to some home video of a late '80s family trip to Hawaii.
