Brand new concept album by Gajah of Acid Reign, released on their new label, Acid Lab Records. Contains 14 varied, yet cohesive tracks that deal with personal struggle, lack of finance, hardship, acceptance of failure and all the real life, relative issues that you rarely hear in Hip Hop music these days, underlined by a message of hope. The bulk of production is held down by Brighton UK producer, Mute Speaker who infuses electronics with crisp, cascading drum layers to compliment Gajah's free flow. Other producers include Comfort Fit, Duke Westlake (E. Super), Dak & AL_PD, with guest vocals by BeOND (Acid Reign), EQ & comedian Piotr Michael. Cuts by DJ Ethos. A personal note from Gajah: ''Poverty's Prodigy is a testament of my personal, yet beautiful struggle growing up as a blooming Hip Hop artist with less than adequate means. I'm getting very personal and open here and admitting to many of my personal failures in life. Some hard lessons that I learned through the human process of trial and error. I also brush on the social restrictions placed upon lower class America and beyond.
