|For the 5th anniversary of Proceduri De Rutina, Hubert Daviz has added a remix LP to the original album! Download card also included.|
The original ''Proceduri De Rutina'' is a deep but chilled trip into Hubert Daviz's beat cosmos, inspired by some of the most obscure Eastern-European jazz you have never heard of. Daviz was born in Romania and moved to Germany at age 5. Today he lives in Cologne where he started making beats in 2004 as part of the UpMyAlley family since 2007, and produces tracks for Huss & Hodn (Entourage) and London-based songstress Shuanise (Eglo). ''Proceduri De Rutina'' is a mini-album made entirely of samples from Romanian jazz records. The project started as a just-for-fun beat tape, after Hubert got hooked on the vintage jazz of his home country in late 2009. First edition was limited to 500 copies and has been out of print for years.
To celebrate the 5th anniversary, Hubert and some of his producer friends revisited the album: Dexter, FloFilz, Wun Two, TBRCK, Max Graef, Hulk Hodn and Hubert himself all delivered great interpretations. The remix LP has its own title, ''O Alta Perspectiva'' and is packaged in a new cover by Robert Winter, shot at the same building where the cover photo for ''Proceduri De Rutina'' was made.
