Homeboy Sandman has somewhat of a cult following simply from positive word of mouth about his lyrical power and opening shows for top artists. Queens MC Homeboy Sandman's brand new album out on indie powerhouse High Water Music, boasts some of his most personal material to date with a very nice line up of producers best producers including DJ Spinna, Psyco Les and Ski Beatz to name a few. There is certainly a lot of buzz about The Good Sun and even ''Best Album of The Year'' talk floating around the web and for good reason. It lives up to the hype of being very different, and Sandman proves to be very versatile with different styles, content and approaches lyrically to every new beat served up. Featuring guest appearances by Fresh Daily and John Robinson.

This Homeboy got hella skills! If you reading this right now and don't own the album or haven't heard the Sandman get busy on the mic....then you needs to get up on "The Good Sun"! F'real my dukes or dukettes, find any clip(s) ya can and take a few to listen to the talented mc deliver his unique style so fluidly. The album was well executed overall. Nothing bad to say as the entire album is pure flyness. Check it yourselves and tell me i'm wrong.
