| Who is Adriana Evans? Her self titled debut from the spring of 1997, alongside Erykah Badu's "Baduizm", helped usher in what would later be dubbed the "Neo-Soul" movement. No longer signed to a label, her second album "Nomadic" was previously only available for sale at her shows or her website. It is a departure from her first album in that it draws its inspiration from many genres of music, including samba, reggae, rock, hip-hop, and jazz, but all VERY soulfully composed.
