Dam-Funk brings back that retro-hip hop and electro boogie and funk like it was the 80's all over again. Like Arabian Prince or Mantronix, creating electronic beats to sound so authentically like funk, was just as important as sampling was for laying down the groundwork for hip hop and what it would become.
