DESCRIPTION

In 1997 A-Trak made his claim to fame winning the DMCs World DJ Championship at the age of only 15, making him the youngest and first Canadian to win the competition. The Montreal bred DJ continued to rack up the awards and eventually joined the Invisibl Sktratch Piklz (alongside Q-Bert and company) and also joined the one-time group The Allies. Since entering the 21st Century the experimental hip hop turntablist has found a new love and affinity for the Dirty South and for the most part anything Club Music related. He began touring as Kanye West's permanent DJ and is dating and producing for rising indie star and female rapper Kid Sister. Following up his now hard-to-find 2006 release, Sunglasses Is A Must, Infinity + 1 is his own personal mix of all the things that get him excited these days, including old-school house, more obscure worldwide house and electronica, retro-electronic funk and boogie from the 80's, even a track from girlfriend Kid Sister, up and coming Stones Throw signee Dam Funk, a remix by DJ Spinna and more!
