Freestyle vs. Written is a benefit album (10% of sales proceeds are donated to Netivot Israel Louna Terror Victim Fund and the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding) that combines the skills of underground hip hop heavyweight C-Rayz Walz with frequent collaborator and tour mate Kosha Dillz, an outspoken Jewish rapper activist. Two emcee's with two very different beliefs that have come together and found they have more in common than they thought, as they meet middle grounds through hip hop on cultural issues, religion, politics and the uninformed public.

an amazing catch, a surprising team, October 12, 2008

definitely a sleeper of 2008, this album packs a punch. Kosha Dillz comes out swinging on his first real release and actually supplies more than demanded on freestyle vs written. its also classic that C Rayz teams up with him

You can tell it's not fabricated because of C Rayz' distinguished adlib style. He has never done such a thing in all his albums (15 or 16 to be exact).

Kosha Dillz supplies written rhymes and goes back and forth in a way that is repetitive but works in this relationship. Its as if it almost describes the real relationship these two emcees have in human form (outside of rap).

The beats of kentron da mastodon are classic 90's work and as a kid form the middle of nowhere, plus kosha dillz, a nd c rayz walz, you get a jewish bronx ghetto meets virginia is for lovers tee shirt with 10% of proceeds going to israeli tero relief funds and the ethnic foundation for understanding, bridging the understanding between blacks and jews.

shop right my friends. even people who dont play baseball no this catch came out of left field.
