| LA area DJ Namo, a regular at Long Beach's premiere weekly downtempo, hip hop, acid jazz and trip hop spot, The Downbeat Lounge, dropped off his extra long EP The Beat Book. Based on what he spins live, it was only natural the album was full of deep, down-tempo heavy instrumentals, the kind you might need to pop a painkiller to enjoy. Beautiful, jazzy and dreamy, instantly head-nod worthy, extra slow break-beat with lots of pianos and horns. I think I'll definitely be taking a trip up north just to catch this guy spin!
