| UK born and London based producer Eric Lau draws upon memories and reflections of his native China in the rural areas of Hong Kong far from the skyscrapers and state of the art transit systems to the back country filled with sea villages, farmland, and breathtaking panoramic views of mountain ranges in the area referred to as New Territory. But the inspiration for the album also relates to exploring "new territories" in his music, and having the freedom to create an entire album based upon that has helped the artist who has produced for Lupe Fiasco, Dudley Perkins, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Guilty Simpson, Wildchild, Tanya Morgan and more, maintain a free flowing, smooth, jazzy and soulful vibe focused on the beautiful vocals of Rahel, Tawiah, Sarina Leah, Tosin, Annabel and Meshach Brown. | |
