| Odd Nosdam has created a steady cult following via his collage-heavy beats, creating soundscapes for the likes of Why?, Dose, Sole and many of Anticon's most beloved artists. On his third album, it's evident his outsourced work for groups like Boards of Canada has had an influence on his musical aesthetic. This latest record departs slightly from the cut n paste pastiche of his earlier work into a more unhinged and ambient feel, with wall of sound and field recordings underlining vibrating keyboard tones and subtle blips.
Heavy drums on some of these songs, but for the most part it remains a subtle affair. For a limited time, it comes with a bonus disc of found sound/ambient outtakes. | |
