Stones Throw has given the New York legend a proper release with only the best in the business, Madlib handling the production and a few choice guest appearances by Guilty Simpson, Aesop Rock, Diamond D, Chali 2na, Vinnie Paz and Prince Po. We were honored to have Percee P perform not one, but two in-store performances several months ago, it turned out to be more than doing a couple songs and signings, as he gave everyone in attendance a full history and lecture on hip hop, growing up in the Bronx, and how long it has taken, through perseverance, to finally have his shot at a full length album. It was a humbling experience and one of the more memorable in-stores we've ever held. | |
