|After a recent emergence back on to the scene with the cult status of NMS (Bigg Juss and Orko Elohim) and a few underrated self produced albums, Bigg Jus returns in a major way on Mush Records with Poor Peoples Day. When you think of Bigg Jus, perhaps you only associate him with none other than Company Flow, which is of course understandable, but with this album maybe that will change, as this is some of his best work to date. Paired with new comer DJ Gman for some hard, heavy hitting production, the lyrically long winded Jus always comes tight, politically charged, abstract and poetic. One of our favorite albums of 2005...and there were a lot of entries, so we're happy to say that this made the cut. |
