that sucks.. well, at least they're putting the venue to use still.. i had no idea there was another club at that spot.

i did miss the dna show.. maybe i'll try to make this one if there's nothing important happening that weekend.. as i remember it though.. the jl was a damn sweatbox fire hazard.. fresh.

twisted, so i gotta ask....what about kmd and doom as zev love x? i personally like kmd (well black bastards...never heard mr hood) way better than most of dooms newer releases

just as dope.. kinda hard to compare.. the album has a very playful sound to it... it's fun and funky.. they sound hella young on it. ever heard "peachfuzz?" it has that sound... brand nubian's on it.. and it uses a lot of sesamee street style samples.

I'm glad that venue is back in action... especially now that my homegirl lives right around the corner. Unfortunately she's gonna be in Spain and all the Monterey peeps have work on 4/3 or early the next morning so it looks like I'm missin this one.
