Kanye and Common on D.Chapelle last night...
ooooooooWEEE! Whatever song that was, was heat. The beat was real real dope. Anyone catch this?
If thats how the production on Comm's new LP is gonna sound, i'll buy 2. Definitley on the Resurection side of things.... which is a very good thing.

I caught it. Pretty dope beat, was it done by KW? It didn't really sound like the other stuff of his I've heard (which isn't much, admittedly). I think I would like Kanye's beats a lot more if the voice samples he uses were substituted with keys or strings in the same melody.
Last night's episode wasn't that good though. Recycled the Lil Jon bit.. I thought the World Series of Craps would be good, but I was disappointed. The episode was saved by the Keepin It Real skit and the musical performance. The spoof of those anti-marijuana commercials was a great idea, but very unfunny.

yeah, i was disappointed with the skits as well. that track was pretty dope.
has anyone else noticed the weird-ass locations of the performances? last night was in a kitchen and the de la one was in a tour bus or some shit. i just found that strange. on a side note, anyone heard that new royce the 5'9" track? i seen the video the other day and thought it was cool. i liked how he used the common sample from 'the light' in the hook.
