last night's cypher

man, another great night! i think it was saki (sake) on the one's & two's spinnin' some really nice breaks that i remember most. those breakers got skills. especially that fine asian chick who dresses like a greaser sorta. homegirl is tight as fuck. i think it was a santana break that he was playing before the second battle, it had a nice latin flav. to it that i really dug. a couple of the emcees were on point. the 'pokey ii' guy was SOOOOO tight! fool came hard off the dome and served fools!!! did anybody catch his 'real' name (emcee name)? the syphur vs. that ghetto e-40ish dude was another great battle! i feel both guys served each other pretty good. i'd like to see that e-40 guy back next week. he came with skills. the rest of the night was dope too, even though the emcees weren't all that great towards the end; it's all about not givin' a fuck and just doin' your thang so i commend those cats who did flow on stage. another big turnout too. good times.

YEAH THE CYPHER WAS INSANE LAST NIGHT, IT WAS GREAT TO SEE THAT TURNOUT, and those battles were very nice. Pokey II is J Squared, The dude who battled Sighphor was PureFlow. Sighphor1, J Squared, and PureFlow are all battling this weeknd at Sunday Service.

I'm gonna have to disaggree, the last few cypers havent been that great. people cant seem to keep the race shit outa their mouths. all I've heard from the mc's is a bunch of 'jesus christs' and 'mutha fuckas' fools aint got ANYTHING to say. I for one vote for more open mics, then maybe we can hear some peeps with skill. and that pureflow kat blew sighphor1 away, but people only vote for their boy so he will always win.
