The most shocking thing I saw in Latin America was how racist they are towards black people. I figured they'd have a "we're all in this together" attitude and be sweatin my light-skinneded ass, but nope. Saw mad skinhead graffitti in Quito, and it's not done by white people but by native Ecuadorans. Some dude out in the cuts of Quininde even started a conversation with my boy by saying he didn't like black people. Tripped me out...

or look at how the world perceives hiphop.....if you are going to make some popular, please milllions of people type music make it hip hop, 50cents is #1 round the world (think about it, thats some hiphop power), aceyalone songs on in the background of random tv shows, commercials for whatever with some hiphop beat in it, someone youd consider a herb using words like fresh or dope, to me it seems like the whole world now knows about hiphop. that is fresh and dope.

Why any kind of hate? Fools are ignorant.

I was puzzled too... I mean this was in Ecuador, and Ecuadorans are generally very dark skinned with broad noses, not like Argentinians that are often very anglo looking. Still bugs me out to this day though.
