with this inter-wbbie thing its easy to research articles that you read. Its amazing how many writers will write you back if you email them and ask questions pointed or otherwise about what they wrote, but generally when sources are mentioned so indescriptly there is a reason. whats the reason usually answers all the questions. I wonder how much (any?) of the trial is going to be made public?

I do know what you're saying though...the lack of names in the
article is a little strange.

But then again, why believe anything at all ? When it comes to stories , people do have to take a level of trust.

OK nevermind... I'll give you a pass. You owe Amanda though.

People can't figure out my steez for the life of em. The fact that I'm not "trying" to be anything probably doesn't help. I'm fucking hip hop to the bone, but that shocks a lot of people when we meet. I guess they figure I'm supposed to have a bleached caesar cut with lines shaved into my eyebrows and talk in ebonics. Fools try to peg me as either a rocker or a raver- especially outside of California. When I was in Canada or even Vegas, people bugged out when I told em I spun hip hop.

Not that I'm complaining, I kinda dig it. People not as immersed in the culture as all of us are need to understand that hip hop isn't just for gangsters and wannabe gangsters. Yeah I got some hair, and a college degree, AND some skills. What?!?

Oh I ain't trippin... one of my best friends is a fellow longhair and really IS a big rocker (black metal), and our favorite lil in joke is to clown on hippies. We also like to get extra defensive about that shit for fun. I often forget that everybody else doesn't neccesarily feel the humor.
