I got it at Rasputins! Its almost as good as the first, and better than Moe's Hobby fer sher! I bought the single on wax over a year ago! I've had the sticker on my car for days too, and finally I found it in daze last night! I also picked up Nighthawks for some anger music! I'm gonna burn that and return it I think, not sure yet!

I think there is a new 3rd Sight out/coming out as well!

When did it come out? I had 3 or 4 of the songs on wax a long time ago, but I didnt think it was old?!??!?

What's the artist that put out martini breaks, so I can look it up? I found sacred hoop, and the shits hot. Will I find either on wax or just CD?

i think that martini breaks is listed under dj marz and vrse murphy- i don't remember and i'm not home right now

yeah, Oak is their "manager" and he has info from what I've been told.

Martini Breaks (which came out over a year ago it seems), should be under the name Sacred Hoop (it's all Sacred Hoop instrumentals and a bunch of scratch samples). It's only on vinyl I'm pretty sure.

Sleepover has also been out for what seems like well over a year. Only on CD, and that "She's a Sacred, Sacred, Sacred Hoop" EP that came out more than a year befoire the album. It's a good album for sure, that children of the dead world joint is too hot.

However, what you cats might not be aware of is that the Hoop has been putting out music since 95 or 96. The first 2 tapes are incredible. There is a vinyl single/ep off the second album (Bring Me the Head of Sexy Henrietta - my personal favorite hoop album). It's pretty rare. The whole albvum only came out on tape. It's really dope though, definitely the best shit they've ever done in my opinion. The first tape was just called Sacred Hoop (also known as Runny Poop). There was another hoop collab tape as well called "Moe's Strange Hobby" with heads like FTA, Megabusive, and other cats from San Jo plus some LA heads and whatnot I think. Then there's the "Last Days of the Hump Hut" tape which had a bunch of stuff from Sleepover (about 2 or 3 years before Sleepover was released), plus this song "Not Our House" which is one of my favorites as well. You can also find that track on wax on the Cue's Hip Hop Shop Vol. 1 compilation.

hey man, since you're a long time fan, you might know this. remember those shirts that said "listen to sacred hoop" on the back in like silver lettering or something? do you have ANY idea where to get those? when pminus got them a few years back, i tried to order and he was already out of them. then vrse murphy randomly emailed me months later saying he'd seen that i wanted one and that he had one left and that he would just give it to me, but then i never heard from him again. so if you got an extra or know somebody that does, or some cutty store that never sold em all, lemme know! much props to you for being a hoop fan. peace.
