One thing is fore sure: That album cover artwork needs to be redone!
Have you heard The Dealers album? Its a shame they didnt hardly promote this album because a lot of people overlook it. Its way better than granite pedigree, imo. DJ Lex beats slap hard. Its solid ive listened to it a hundred times.

Yes, I have it. It's decent, but nothing I would consider to be a stellar solo release. More like some shit he had been working on with Lex and just kind of threw out to fans without much thought (it's nothing more than a CD-R afterall). Nothing special, unfortunately. Granite Pedigree didn't do much for me either...

That album is so raw to me. The 'scrape stab' beat is one of the sickest and the lyrics on the whole album are really dense in a sense where you pick up something new the more you listen. Granite Pedigree I only like a few tracks. The one with Kurious is fresh.

I liked Architect and Phesto's beats on Granite Pedigree.

I love The Dealers! I was listening to that album daily like a year ago. I hope Background Check had the same effect for me.

My thoughts exactly. Is it going to be a mix of producers on Background Check or is it mainly Phesto dee? I know Tone Capone did the full speed beat and Phesto did the every detail beat...either way that espionage 007 shit is ill to me.

Awhile back there was another snippet for a track that wasnt either full speed or every detail. Anybody have that any more? I lost it my Ipod crashed. Either way hopefully its on the album and we'll hear it soon enough.

About to order now

Phes does work. Looking forward to check the new album. Feeling Full Speed bumps, he goes in on that last verse. Where can I get the Granite Pedigree?
