Most Influential Hip Hop Bands

Hey all.
I want to know how everyone feels on the question of who is the most influential hip hop bands? Who has created the lifestyle and love for hip hop? I stumbled upon a complete list of hip hop bands Here it is hip hop artists list Im very interested to hear what everyone has to say.

bands...like utilizing live instrumentation. it has to be the roots. there really isn't anybody else with the same recognition as being a hip hop band and having been around for so long.

i don't know about influential but Dujeous were pretty dope too in the late 90's.
