Fashion Advice
I got a brand new pair of sneakers that I really like, but they're too too white. almost like the jelly donut commercial. I feel like they're glowing when I wear them, but I kinda like my stuff neat too -- atleast until they get naturally worn -- so scuffing them up seems a little destructive. Any advice?

return them shits and get grey.

or

get somebody to paint them grey with a nice marker and then draw black and darker grey flames on 'em or skull and crossbones. that would be blazin'.

nah, paint them black and spray on a pot leaf stencil, that would be the best move.

if you live by a beach.. you can wear your new, white kicks to the beach.. walk around in the sand for a little bit and just kick it.. this should wear the whiteness down naturally.. then go home, dump all the sand out of the insides and clean'em.. should look worn. if not near a beach, just go to a playground and kick it in the sandbox for a while and do the same.. this should give it that oldschool look.. like you've had the shoes for a long-ass time, but don't wear them too much or you just take really good care of them.

Why would you want your sneaks to look busted purposely? Thats like some Abercrombie shit..... "30 dollars for this grimy-ass hat with a frayed bill"

I personally love brand new white kicks............ Especially in the summertime.

white shoes look ill, just rock em white. why would you want to dirty a pair of new white shoes?? i wish i had new white shoes, ill trade you for some worn out dirty ones if your having it that way. keep em white, scotch guard them in fact.

I don't want them to look busted. They're just completely white and right now, when I wear them out on a bright day it almost looks like I'm floating. They GLOW. It's like God's feet.

BTW -- I like the sandbox idea. thanks

just go to a bbq or a house party and your shit will look straight. my new shoes always get dirty/scuffed after this. or fuck it, go camping.

no prob.. i know what you mean.. when you're in the club and they got the black light on.. it looks like you got michael jackson feet or some shit.. i never actually tried the sandbox/beach shit on purpose.. i've just been to the beach wearing new white sneaks a few times, and that's what happens to them.. they don't get really dirty or fucked up.. not even scuffed really.. just like they've been worn.

I feel you dude... i've bought white shoes and when they're new they look freakin bright. i think you just need to wear them for a bit and the glow will deteriorate over a week or so.

When a friend of mine was 16 he made several thousand dollars selling pirated episodes of Seinfeld on VHS over the internet. This was before the show was even off the air. Then NBC sent him a letter saying "cease and desist." So he did.
