If you contact Zack Hendrix (Del's DJ) through his myspace page and let him know that you are interested in purchasing it, he will gladly send you his e-mail so that you can send him a payment via paypal for it. That's what I did.

It's a CD-R mixtape that Hendrix put together... it's one big continuous track where he laid down the music and it has a bunch of artists rapping over it. Has Del, and Casual on it as well as many other artists. It's kinda cool.

Yo, this is Zac. The Missile Target hip-hop mixcd series (1-3) were sold at shows and a handful of independent record stores and are now out of print...mostly because they're getting old! I was thinking of making Missile Target III available for free download at some point, but I'm a little busy right now, so I might not get to that until November/December. Now that I see someone cares, I'll make it a higher priority. Dr.Hektik - if you're serious and you want to hit me up about that, I'll see if I have extra copies of whatever you're looking for in my personal collection.
The mixes I'm pushing right now are "Where'd You Get Your Funk From?" featuring your host, Sir DZL...which is a Parliament-Funkadelic and related artists megamix (70 minutes, like most of my mixes). Also, "Midnight Hotline Rendezvouz", which is an early 80's modern soul mix that your girl will like, even if you don't. I'm running out of the Best of Del mixcd, but I plan on doing a second run of them because I've gotten a really good response.
I hope everyone is checking out the new Del albums, including the Parallel Uni-Verses album..I did the cuts on that, btw.
If you get a chance, peep AllFlagsBurn.com ..that's one of the groups that I'm involved with here in Seattle, where I live.
Thanks for your time and interest!
Gotta go. See you guys at the next show!
Peace-
Z

p.s. When do we get to come back to Idaho!? Someone needs to book us again! That was fun.. never thought I'd get to rock a hip-hop show there. There'd be a lot more Del and Hiero shows if the fans found the people at the colleges that are responsible for booking their entertainment. Often times, it's other students. Seeya

Hell Yeah! If you have copies of any of the missle targets, I'm interested. I just heard the missle target 2 mixtape i'm sure the other ones are as dope. Also there was like a raggae love mix tape??? that i never listened to cause i left it at the hotel i was staying at the time. But that missle target 2 is dope! i drove from Moscow Idaho to Salt lake City listening to that mix over and over, haha. Good Stuff... I requested you as a friend on myspace. hope to hear some of your mixes soon..peace.

Hector

I got one mixtape at a show by zac, simply titled "The Mixtape" and has a bunch of del songs, an unreleased demo (A Brand New Beginning), and some samples from the original tracks that del sampled.

The one you're talking about sounds interesting.

Yeah i haven't heard the other missle targets, just the missle target 2. I found a page that you could hear the whole mixtape but can't download it. Also it says that you can purchase it but i don't know about that since Zac Hendrix said that they were out of print. I'll rather wait for him to get me a legit copy. anyways heres the link:

Oh yeah...Brushed Golden probably has some. I gave them a bunch years ago and haven't heard a peep from them since...but I bet they're sitting on some. Make sure you hear back from them in some way before you send any money though. I think they're still operating, but like I said, they haven't been in touch with me for years. haha. I can still look for some shit. Just hit me up. I've got two myspaces, a facebook, twitter, and all that jazz. My regular websites have been under construction for like 15 years (good things come to those who wait and keep waiting), but those networking sites are rolling..
Luv Dub - The Mixtape (another one of those "the mixtape" things..haha... it's only called that because my group, Insult2Injury had a song called "Luv Dub" and we needed to differentiate between that and the mix) is all roots and dub (that's reggae, man..oh, you knew that) and the first half is love songs..and the second half is 'girl you did me wrong' songs. My most popular mix is also a reggae mix called "Deeper The Root - Sweeter The Fruit". That's from '99! I also helped my man Holden Greenbaum do his all herb-related reggae mix, "Take a Lift". I've sold all of those at Del shows before.
Other mixes include Pictures of Home, Winning Hand (I think that's the most slept on one..it's a b-boy funk mix..still in print), Party People '75-'79, aaaand...I feel like I'm forgetting something. Anyways, I like approaching mixtapes like albums. A lot of love goes into the process. I got into all kinds of amazing music because hip-hop opened that world of funk/soul/jazz/disco/reggae/rock/etc. up to me, so I want to be a part of waking up people's ears to some of what they might be missing.
Right on guys..
