It's pretty clear Dels going to make the music he wants to make. No playing it safe. No trying to appease the masses. Just raw and funky. I love it and think Funkman and Automatik Statik have separated Del from the pack. Can't wait for the collab with Tame One too.

Agreed. Finally hiero, or at least del, is dropping music at the pace I like. No hate, but I fell off due to the lack of music coming from the crew. Seeing del drop shit like he has been, has gotten me back to being stoked for hiero releases.

Yeah, like that Deltron 3030? Bunch of pop-bopping garbage if you ask me. That album defines safe...lol.

Really though, Del is playing it safe with releases like Funk Man and 11th Hour. Not much fresh and inventive material like he used to drop. Just trying to appeal to the Def Jux crowd.

I think you can make a case for 11th hour being safe. Although, I think making something more similar to his previous stuff would have been the safer route.

I completely disagree about Funk Man and Automatik Statik. If theres something out that sounds like Funk Man and Automatik Statik I havn't heard it.

Wow...Deltron 3030 is bop-pop garbage? That's the first time I've ever heard that one. Del 3030 is easily one of the most innovative concept albums of all time...there was nothing safe about that album.

It's a shame this came out so close to Parallel Uni-Verses because this shit is CRAZY! I liked Funk Man quite a bit but on the whole I like Automatik Statik better. Parallel Uni-Verses is sick too but it's going to overshadow this release. I hope Del continues to put out stuff like this thats completely him.
