blueprint - the weight room

i can't wait for this album to drop. blueprint did all the production i heard. i heard a few tracks and was feelin them. i think it consists of old and new tracks. track 12 ft orphanage called 'obsolete' is hella dope. sage francis' verse is ill. also, track 3 is dope. i can't wait for the soul position lp too. the ep is dope. lots of dope shit coming out this year. its been slow the last month. here's the tracklist for the blueprint album--

01 intro
02 the proper eduction ft greenhouse effect
03 time management
04 paradise ft iskabibbles
05 prison workout ft cy da cynic
06 lucky ft illogic
07 rags to rugged ft badaddy shabazz
08 i.c.u. ft cannibal ox
09 five dollar boy millioni dollar man
10 that's what you get ft the minor league
11 slave songs ft drown
12 obsolete ft. orphanage
13 before freedom fight the power
14 outro

Boo!

Sorry, but I can't stand Blueprint. Whenever I listen to "Dead Ringer" I have to skip his track and Motormouth's track (which is even worse!). It's a shame, cos the production RJ does is super nice, but the lyrics are just flat, derivitive shit. I bought the Soul Position EP hoping that maybe he just came weak on "Dead Ringer" but was disappointed that SP was also really shitty (lyrically). Blueprint - boo!

I really wanted to cos Rjd2 is so fresh, but I just couldn't get past the lyrics. I have a feeling I'm in the minority on the subject of Blueprint though...

"Aint nothing wrong with sharin information but there was alotta bullshit I had to go through, it made me appreciate the art form more and you'd be missin that if I just told you"
