last night's south park
did any one else catch this? it was freakin' hilarious! practically the whole episode was timmy's and jimmy's attempt at becoming full fledged CRIPS. in their little crippled minds they actually thought the crips were crippled people and tried to join their 'club.' it was pretty funny.
but... do any of you feel this type of black humor is wrong? my dad is in a wheelchair and i am guilty of laughing at handicapped jokes sometimes and handicapped skits so i felt kinda bad after watching this, but i still laughed. is it wrong making money off other's expense? the last episode with the 'earth' reality show was funny too. i guess the guys who do south park are just spoofing on reality and the fucked up world we live. so why not laugh at the world, huh? or is comedy just an excuse to ignore social problems, get drunk/high, and make money off people's problems? notice how the crips reigned supreme over the bloods in this episode as well. do you guys see how much stronger the crip foundation is now becuase of the media? the media supports gangs now like it's a fashion trend. with the rise of snoop to 'doggfather' status, being a member of the crips is like being on hollywood's 'a' list. what is the world coming to?

yeah that was a funny ass episode of south park. especially all that shit with the crips. but on the real, south park has to be one of the most interesting shows to watch right now, especially since every single show has a political message attached to it.
on the episode with the cripples, some of the stuff on it is very true. the handicapped people hating christopher reeves is true in real life. in present day society, many handicapped poeple do truly do not like all the exposure christopher reeves has been getting, and many are happy and content with being handicapped. there are those that also do not appreciate what christopher reeves is doing as a handicapped person. while this viewpoint may not be shared by all handicapped people, it is a viewpoint that does exist and is not known about. also, if the world leaders were to watch this episode, they might be able to solve all the problems, with a lock-in at the rec center. there would be pizza. "i mean, come on."

That episode killed me. The gangster passed the blunt to timmy and said "hit this lil roller". sheesh. i think South Park is funny as hell but sometimes i do think they step out of line a bit.
