Well... I got a show may 18th. My b.day is the 19th so I plan to just guzzle henny and celebrate the fact im getting old that night. The more the merry and I am always glad to see a familiar face. Its at a hillbilly bar turned hip hop for the nizight. Im gonna rock some new songs off of my new album (my new album will feat. Johaz and Sha dula...deep to the root, yall know.., Exile, Aloe Blacc, Black Milk, Sean Price, DJ DAY and many more... its gonna be a minute till it drops but get ready..oooohhhh!)...

first time I rocked at distillery, I was like 14 opening for King T and then Def Jef.. Fresh J.. aka Paper Thin.. aka Blame One! Majik Trick productions used to throw the shows back then. I wasnt even old enough to be there. The DJ used to spin above the dancefloor. You would have to climb stairs to get to the booth. That place holds alot of memories for me. Hope to see you at the spot MR EVS.

Haha..I bet you I was at that show!..The Distillery East was the spot back in the days..I started going there when i was 12-13 with my older brother..The first time I went I was scared as hell, not sure I'd get in..

I remember seeing lots of cats there..King Tee, Paperboy, A Lighter Shade of Brown, Kid Frost, Skee-Lo, Mellow Man Ace, Tone Loc and many, many others..That was a great place to see live acts in the early 90's..

Man..There were times we'd go out there in my brothers truck with 2-3 of us laying down in the back of the pickup..No shell, nothin..All the way from The O!..

Those definitely were the good ol days!..

I remember trying to go to La Hacienda in Oceanside but I was too young to get in. I forget who was playing. You were probably there, Blame. maybe LA Symphony or Futureshock, or mission infinite or somebody. I don't remember. I just remember getting to the parking lot, seeing a couple older guys we knew (Coper and crew) and finding out we were too young.

why is it that it seems like all the shows you couldn't get into were the ones you wanted to see the most.
