Disflex 6-Slow Burn LP...

I will start off by saying this type of hip hop isn't for everyone, but for those that do enjoy, calm, reflecting and refreshing production and rhymes from a rap crew that routinely put out great music and don't sound like anyone else out there in the rap world then this is for you.

Loving the Lost In Translation sample and how sexy Scarlett's voice sounds in hip hop

yeah, they're dope... don't think they're the best in the bay (not even there anymore as far as I know) but i dig their style.. hasn't really changed much, which can be a good or bad thing. definitely slow tempo, reflective type stuff.

thats dope.... so glad to hear about the new SL releases.

this might sound harsh but i really dont mean to offend.... but besides robot dream (which leaked about 2 years before it was actually "released") and "pbs - war of art", its been a FEW years since you guys actually came out with some quality tunes. I was expecting ALOT more out of guts3 (since guts2 was off the chain), but it ended up sounding more like a bunch of old songs that didnt make the cut on previous albums.

besides that little gripe, ive pretty much enjoyed every SL release I've heard.

and I stand by my previous statement, Disflex.6/Sunset Leagues IS the best crew to EVER come outta the bay (or from the bay... however u wanna say it).
"Yeah, thats right. Big whoop. Wanna fight about it?"

IS

Yeah your right guts 3 was a bunch of old songs that didn't make any albums...we just felt we needed something out there because it had been so long..its got mixed reviews some people really like it so you never know. Its been a while since we put stuff out because we were trying to get other labels to put our stuff out for us. Looking back we should of just dropped shit when it was done. We have been steady in the lab for the last 2-3 years making all kinds of shit so hopefully we will be able to stay current and get music out as its finished, we do have a guts 4 coming with all new joints so i am looking fwd to that.

to answer the question why me and elon moved to LA is simple. My 9-5 needed me to open a branch out in Glendale and I wanted to get out of the bay for a bit to see what its like in LA. It was real cool and we meet up with a bunch of dope artist. I feel like it was a good move for us but now its back to the bay and focus on what we started there. I love SF and we have some real solid foundations here so it should be good for us, especially with the new records dropping.

Thanks for supporting our music man it really means allot to us to have people checking for what we do. We try and stay true to what we have done but still keep it fresh and we appreciate feedback because we know fans will give you the real deal.
