I have the best sci fi book of all time. It's out of print though and my copy is an original print. It was a gift. I'll send it to you if you promise to take care of it and send it back. I've lent it out to a few other accessians and they all enjoyed it....

It's called "This Perfect Day" by Ira Levin.

Or get 1984, Anything by Isaac Asimov or read the Dune series.......

No talk of lazers. Sorry....

The world is united and completely peaceful but its all controlled by a big computer called uni. There is no money, everyone wears a bracelet that you use to pay for everything. Uni tells you what job you'll have, whether or not you will get married and who to, whether or not you can have kids... It's about one guy who fights back. Really good book.

Let me know.

try philip k. dick books.

i read Deus Irae (i don't know how to pronounce that)

no lazers. but a quadriplegic artist with mechanical arms who gets pulled around by a cow in his wheelchair is commissioned to do a piece for the vatican (if i remember correctly).

i have never read any homo-erotic novels but if you say so...

pkd has a grip of books and was gonna pick up: do androids dreams of electric sheep? but that is blade runner so i hesitated. also, battle royale has been novelised, but i know how that turns out too.
