Does anyone attend San Francisco State University or know someone who does? I may transfer there next year and I'm curious what you think about the school/area. I know there's quite a few people here that live in the Bay...

Don't move to Europe. Seriously, that continent is full of fucking lazy-ass hippies. I hate it there so much. After living all of your life in the US, you get very frustrated when every goddanm thing closes at 4:30 p.m. And they're a bunch of fucks who are full of themselves. It annoyed me when I was in Germany, especially. Because you've got these Germans thinking they are God's gift to Earth, when all you have to do is crack open a history book and take a look at World War II.

freal... i hate countries where the population is filled with arrogant citizens whose false sense of patriotism/nationalism hides the fact that their history is filled with instances of a near annihilation of an ethnic group.

I don't know, but check the site: www.sfsu.edu

Many schools don't look at your SAT if you have an associates degree.

And California State schools aren't very selective compared to the UC schools and private institutions.

so are they gonna make you pay out of state fees?

from folks that i know, ive heard good things about sf state... im actually applying there to get my masters in counseling (my chances are very slim tho since i dont have much experience in the field).

the bay is dope though. the city is always breathing, and theres always shit to do.

a good area for a lot of intellectual discourse.

Trying to equate anything that the United States has done to what Germany did during World War II is ridiculous. Of course our own country has skeletons in its closet, but in modern history, there are no old bones in there that could outdo Germany's.

I've heard good things about SF State too. My college in Washington has a direct transfer agreement with them, so I'm pretty much in.

I'm hoping I will still be considered a resident though, since I have a CA driver's license and work for Access.

SF sounds cool. I've never been there so I wouldn't know first hand. I'm also looking at UCLA and Berkeley but those schools are very competitive.

I believe there is some sort of program that west coast schools have that significantly cuts the cost of tuition of out-of-state students from other west coast states. I'm sorry that I don't have more information right now, but just Google that shit and you'll find something.

of course everyone knows what germany did, and im sure the germans know that. but from what i know, its damn near a death penalty in germany to say anything positive about the holocaust or to even deny it.

ive never been to germany tho, so i dont know how they act. for all i know, they could indeed be a bunch of douche bags.

just dont think folks think too kindly about loud annoying americans either.

i think if you have a DL and can prove residence for one year than you're straight (nh).

The only problem is I worked in Washington for half a year. But I've been working for Access in CA for years so hopefully it doesn't matter.
