last night's bikini contest

don't worry, i'll have pics for you soon. i went to this bikini contest at pb bar and grill last night. it was the san diego finals for hawaiian tropic; one girl was picked to compete for $100,000 (maybe not that much, i forget) in palm springs and a year contract. the girl who won last night ($1,000 prize) was aight, but the one who fit the mold the best didn't even place. apparently last week's judges were ex padres & chargers players, this week's were some beach volleyball players and some UFC dude who i did not recognize.

lemme say that it was def. perv city up in there. fuck it, though, my homie brought his digi cam and got some pretty nice shots. so either tomorrow or this weekend i'll post up the link after he uploads everything and show you some SD sloots.

PB Bar&Grill is whack as hell. Place is an absolute dump, and smells like crap all the time. Only night worth going in my opinion is Taco Tuesdays, but even that night is played out now too. I get a kick out of that place and Typhoon trying to enforce a dress code now a days, they never used to do that a few years back. That's why people go to PB is to dress chill and relaxed. It's all about The Tavern, thrusters, guava beach, beach comber, sandbar... just to name a few.

I wouldn't doubt there was some nice breezies in there last night though

real talk. i hate garnet. but i had no problem hitting up the grill for some taytays. wait 'til i post the flicks.

thrusters is decent when they got hiphop spinning. guava beach is my shit, though! you been there lately? had one of those beaver blasters? haha, that place is the best dive down there. monday night NFL with the projector screen, 25 cent hot wings, $6 domestic, $8 micro pitchers, not bad at all. there's one bartender there who is smoking hot. she always hooks it up. get long islands there. my buddy used to cook there and he was tryin' to get me a dj gig there just for like background music cuz you can't dance there but it never panned out. there isn't really a good spot for the setup i guess. but one thing they do lack is good music. they hardly ever play good music there.

sanbar is prolly my second fav. it used to be real chill, the 'pre-party' spot, but now it's become pretty trendy, at least on fri/sat nights. i've been goin' there the past few thurs nights and i think they got a new dj (squeeze or something like that?) who actually spins good hiphop. he was playin' golden era shit last time which was nice to hear. the bartenders/staff there are cool, too. overall friendly and easy going. this is my sunday NFL spot, all day. mad charger fans, and a ton of new england fans. SD is like a haven for those fuckers. everywhere you look you see somebody rockin' the B cap. it's cool, though, i'm down with some bostonians.

liars club got GRUB! try their cholua ranch burger. plus, they got stone on tap, sometimes double bastard ale.

i fuckin' love me some mission beach. i'll keep y'all posted on the 3rd annual horseshoe tournament that'll be going down in may i think. prolly near isthmus/island streets, either beach front or bay front. always a blast!
