The show on sat night at the independent....hands down one of the best shows ive ever seen live.

RJ kiiiiiled it on 4 decks and beat machine....for over an hour....then acey...man, that guy can still rock a crowd. I even caught Aesoprock bobbin his head. Really great sound system there too....great place....I dont miss the Justice League anymore

I was walking up Haight at 3 on Sunday and was thinking about checking it out, but ended up snagging an apartment instead.

As of this weekend I'll be living two blocks away from Amoeba. I can't wait to get out of bed and go pick up the new Ghostface record while in my pajamas on the 14th.

Thats dope. Theres a lot of pretty decent restaurants in that area too. How many rooms and what are you paying?

$1100 for a good size studio... off the street so we don't have to listen to bums all night and enough distance from the neighbors to make some noise.

We were initially looking at one bedrooms basically just so we could have both our turntables set up, but it looked like everything in our price range wasn't really worth it. Some chick wanted $1100 for a beat down unit across the street from the projects... I would've been interested but there's no way in hell I'm having my record collection on the ground floor like that.

For two DJs who don't drive we couldn't have it much better... probably coulda found a better deal in the Richmond or Sunset but my girl's daily commute is kicking her ass so we jumped on this spot.
