Win a Trip w/ Atmosphere
Today, Friday, February 3, 2006 Vans.com announced the beginning of their Win a Trip To SXSW with the Atmosphere - Fly Away Contest

The Grand Prize consists of a 3 day, 2 night trip to Austin, Texas including airfare, hotel accomodations, $300 in spending cash along with a pair of the Vans Slip Ons and an autographed copy of Atmosphere's new record You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having.

so i go to register and i'm filling out the info and it comes to the fucking part where it says choose a state! fucking typical, because i live in BC, like i wouldn't be so choked if they made it clear in the first place that it was American entries only.
anyways thats my beef of the day, thought i'dd let ya know

SXSW is dope. i WOULD wear vans and hangout with atmosphere for a chance at a free trip there.

Don't worry about it... I'm sure seak is stuffing the ballot box to the point where you wouldn't stand a chance anyway.

just cuz they never invited mac dre to be part of the lineup doesn't mean SXSW isn't the best music festival in the country. try and debate that.

coachella has a dope lineup that is infused with more mainstream acts... SXSW is more focused on unknown and up and coming acts trying to put themselves out there... SXSW is cool cuz it's all over austin and you can just walk around and hit up different bars/clubs where shows are going on... all you need is a wristband to get in anywhere. i don't know how coachella is but i imagine it's more of a outdoor woodstock type vibe where you have to stand around all day and pay $10 for a bottle of water? please correct me if i'm wrong.

water is like 2-4 bucks.
coachella is hella fun, if you can stand the heat.
