wood floors
just got my wood floors installed. the entire job including all materials and labor cost me about $4500 which aint bad. its really nice wood... some exotic hardwood called kempas. decided to have someone install it so i make sure its done right. got the labor dirt cheap at 2 bucks a sq ft and they hooked up the baseboards for free. looks unbelievable, i'm luvin it.

i grew up with a hardwood floor in the living rooom of my parents house. i used to hate it but now i appreciate it. it's alot classier than carpet. especially good in the warm months. i don't really like the dark wood (n/h) that my parents have tho. i like the lighter blondish wood (again...n/h). it brightens up the room and is easier to find cheap furniture to match.
