I gots a laptop, ya know..and I know someone out there knows about some shit..
so my question;
what is the fastest/easiest/COMPLETE way to get myself started with creating some basic music production.
4-instance,
ON MY COMPUTER, what would be the real simple/basic programs I should get, to be able to turn on my comp..f**k with a few soundbanks or measures, and be able to just make beats...real simple, and I could put these programs together real fast...I got one of them computer stores around my house....
the least amount of programming; no outside equipment; with the best "music" outcome..for the time being.??ANYONE?SHANKAS

FL Studio---Fruity Loops Studio. It's definatly one of the best for PC. If you have a Mac get Pro Tools.

fruityloops' sequencing isnt great.

but thats all i use cause im a broke beezy.

fuck fruityloops get reason for more options or read up on the new cubase program

My only problem with Fruity is the overall sound quality. There's only so much it can do by itself, but overall, I'd recommend it to any up-and-comer without a lot o' cash.

When you boil it down, FL is just a sequencer. Which equates to what you sequence will determine the music. Obviously. If you use the presets, your music will prolly suck. But if you add an element that is actually creative, and step outside of the preconcived notions about what it can do, you can make freshness. Rhapsodic does all his cuts on fruityloops.

I personally hate it.... Hardware, cuddy. Thats the way to ride.

Yah, it's got to the point where I can't bring myself to use the telephone cuz it has some buttons that I can push but can't record.
