Aesop Rock - Skelethon CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21970 Iconic New York-born, San Francisco-based rapper and producer, Aesop Rock, has found a new home post Def Jux with Rhymesayers for his highly anticipated sixth album! While it's been five years since his last solo None Shall Pass, he certainly hasn't been on hiatus. Over the years he popped up for guest spots on some unusual but very dope projects, he produced Murs and Slug's Felt 3, and released the concept piece Hail Mary Mallon with Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz just last year. Skelethon not only sees the rapper back waxing poetically on his own but also marks his first wholly self-produced effort. While the sounds are familiar, we see Aesop venturing in some exciting new directions with guest appearances from indie rock archetype, Kimya Dawson, as well as Allyson Baker of Dirty Ghosts, Hanni El Khatib, Nicky Fleming-Yaryan, Rob Sonic, DJ Big Wiz and the Grimace Federation. Aesop's new album follows in the wake of several deep personal losses and highlights subject matter that deals with the sometimes-futile ways people try to cope with serious issues. The Pharcyde - Bizarre Ride Expanded Box 3xCD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22192 While you may not need an introduction and already own this album, you'll definitely wanna cop The Pharcyde's seminal debut release in this expanded triple CD reissue! with detailed liner notes by producer J-Sw!ft, and rare vintage photos of the group all contained within a deluxe hinged box with magnetic clasp for easy access to some of the best hip hop of all time. This superbly arranged deluxe reissue includes the original album in its entirety, plus two additional discs including instrumentals, remixes, and 'b-cydes. **Special new release price for a limited time only!** Fat Boys - Fat Boys Pizza Box Set CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22216 The Fat Boys were one of the highest profile hip hop groups in the early 1980's next to Run DMC. They were part of the first corporate sponsored rap concert (Fresh Fest), they were featured in the movie Krush Groove, one of the first rap groups to travel to Europe, and they sold hefty amounts of records and continued to balloon throughout the decade. Their beginnings were humble like most but quickly catapulted into full stardom. Appearances on radio, TV, full tours, magazine spreads and they even had their own embroidered satin jackets! This deluxe reissue serves up the classic rap album for the first time in 28 years, fully remastered with all the necessary ingredients which include 3 bonus tracks not on the original album, promotional sticker, liner notes, rare photographs and above all the even more rare Mr. Magic (RIP) radio interviews! Packaged in a genuine miniature pizza box! (Sold out - back in stock Monday 7/23.)

NEW RELEASES:
Afro Latin Vintage Orchestra - Last Odyssey 2LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22232 Afro Latin Vintage Orchestra's new album Last Odyssey finds the French band in fine form, creating music with Jazz as its foundation laced with strains of Ethio and Nigerian Funk combined with Latin Percussion and rhythms. By taking the "heaviest" elements from each genre and distilling it down to its most potent form, the band's true identity is revealed and sets them apart from their influences. Founded in 2007 with a rotating cast of members and ranging in size from a 20 piece band to 12 that contributed to this album, the core musicians consists of 6 members: Masta Conga (percussion), Benjamin Peyrot Des Gachons (keyboards), Elvis Martinez Smith (guitar), Philipe Vernier (sax), Jb Feyt (trumpet) and David Battestini Quadri (double bass). At its heart is Masta Conga who's the designated ring leader and primarily responsible for the concept and production of this album. "ALVO is not a classic group which repeats, It is a space of creation all around of various revolving musicians according to projects." says Masta Conga. Bless - Because Language Equals Sound Shaping CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22358 "Bless" is an acronym for "Because Language Equals Sound Shaping" (the full title of the album). Ohio emcee Bless says this album "was created in response to many questions, life dilemmas, and through the insatiable desire to keep real music alive." Large Pro - Professor @ Large CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22047 Large Professor is so involved with the history of hip-hop, it's almost impossible to separate the two. His first beat-work was for Eric B. and Rakim. As a founder of the golden age crew Main Source, he gave Nasty Nas his debut. He rapped and produced on Tribe's Midnight Marauders, and co-crafted the sound of Illmatic. Now he's back again with his third solo album, "Professor @ Large". He's proud to be old school but you couldn't tell based on his lyrics. He sounds hungry still. Each song is has a different style. And a lot of featured artists like Busta Rhymes to keep your head noddin. You can judge this one by its cover because the kaleidoscopic art is awesome! Carlos Nino - Aquariusssssss LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22109 Now on vinyl! This project finds Carlos Nino (Build An Ark) back to work, sampling, looping, editing, and processing recordings he's made of himself playing various instruments and recordings of ensembles that he leads. The feel is more ambient than his earlier work, and plays like the soundtrack to a film of psychedelic visuals for exploration, reflection and relaxation. A truly wonderful mix of blissful tones and meditative drones that is brought to life with the musical collaborations of Daedelus, Dntel, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and others. Doseone - G Is for Deep LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21983 After a few delays since its originally scheduled release Dose's new album finally makes it on a limited pressing on vinyl with a download coupon as well. From its opening moments, it's clear that G Is for Deep is a different sort of beast. Adam "Doseone" Drucker's first solo LP for the label he founded fifteen years ago finds this one-man Oakland arts colony more lyrically naked than ever, singing instead of rapping, dressed in a Technicolor swirl of synthesizer, drum machine, hacked Gameboy and layered voice. To call this pop might be misleading, but there are indeed choruses here. To call it R&B might confuse, but these are songs about one hardworking man's ups and downs with life, love, friendship and fear. After years of innovating via projects like cLOUDDEAD, 13 & God, Themselves and Subtle, Dose returns alone holding one of the brightest records of his career. El-P / Killer Mike - Into The Wild Tour Mix CDR http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22412 The official Into The Wild Tour mixtape compiled by DJ Trackstar (Killer Mike's tour DJ) and featuring tracks off the new album but not also just that...but rare and hard to find stuff from others on this nationwide tour including Mr. Muthafuckin eXquire and Despot! Oh and if you get a chance to catch the last leg of this tour...do yourselves a favor and please DO! It was insanely fun! DJ Trackstar - Out of the Darkness CDR http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22411 Leave it to DJ Trackstar to return from a brief hiatus and take on a huge mixtape featuring the best of Dungeon Family! This is an extensive collection of tracks spanning almost 20 years of the Atlanta based collective of rap and r&b artists which spawned the careers of Outkast and Goodie Mob, hosted by Big Rube over 50 tracks of classic Organized Noize beats! Fat Rat Squeak - Chicken & Codeine CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22410 Hustle and grime rap coming out of Tulsa, Oklahoma from Fat Rat Squeak. For fans of Dirty South style hip hop. Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22267 The solos keep coming out at a good pace from the Odd Future camp, this time from fan favorite Frank Ocean. Hazel - The Lost Tapes CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22298 Parisian producer Hazel is back with The Lost Tapes, a 21 track beat opus compiled from his extensive catalog. With collaborations from Drake, Slakah the Beatchild and Ebrahim, The Lost Tapes is far from a simple compilation of instrumentals and features; it's an album in the truest sense of the word, crafted with painstaking attention to detail. Longtime collaborator and friend Ebrahim selected, arranged and mastered each track to blend seamlessly together, creating an album deserving to be experienced in its entirety by the listener. Combining punchy basslines with crisp snares and deep kicks, Hazel's music gives a nod to the signature style of those who inspired and came before him; hip hop producers who breathed soul into their sound. The incredible artwork was conceived and developed by Mikael Columbu (videographer & director for Bilal, The Weeknd, Cee-Lo, Onra & more). (Sold out - back in stock Monday 7/23.) Illmaculate - Skrill Talk CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22224 Sandpeople member Illmaculate drops an all new solo album with Skrill Talk! Featuring Only One and other Sandpeople guest appearances plus big spots with Inspectah Deck and Tech9ne. Beond - EverYThingZ BacKWardS CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22335 The LONG awaited solo debut from BeOND is almost here! "EveryThingz BacKWards" features guest appearances by Self Jupiter of Freestyle Fellowship, Lucky I Am of Living Legends and more. J Rocc / DJ Rhettmatic - Beat Junkies 45 Series vol.1 7" http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22296 With countless musical accolades including five years worth of world championship DJ competition titles, features on primetime radio mix shows for Los Angeles' top radio stations for over a decade, and providing production and DJing support for some of hip-hop's most notable recording artists including Dilated Peoples, Madlib, Cypress Hill and the Visionaries, the Beat Junkies have profoundly influenced and impacted the international music scene and DJ community since the early 90s. This year, the Beat Junkies are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a world tour modeled off their legendary Los Angeles nightlife parties that turned the Knitting Factory into a legendary epicenter of hip-hop and a series of 7" singles showcasing the talents of their crew. Volume 1 features J Rocc and DJ Rhettmatic on limited edition white vinyl.s

Nas - Life Is Good CD/Life Is Good DELUXE CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22172 http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22173 For his tenth album and the last he'll do on Def Jam, Nas eases up on the politically charged stuff and trades it in for an album about reflection as he enters a new chapter in his life since the divorce of his wife Kellis with whom they have a child. Featuring production by Buckwild, No ID, Swizz Beatz and the late Heavy D. Guests include Large Professor, Rick Ross, Mary J Blige and even a posthumous chorus from Amy Winehouse. Deluxe Edition version features 4 bonus tracks. Piano Overlord (Prefuse73) - Aninha Mission CD/LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22271 http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22272 New and unreleased Piano Overlord material from Prefuse73. Under this moniker he offers up melodic and moody stuff that relies heavily on pianos and keys. Featuring additional production by Carlos Nino. Shawn Lee - Reel To Reel CD/2LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22229 http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22230 The Tiger is back with more instrumentals, laced with cinematic, library-style funk, soul, jazz, rock and all groovy things in between that you can shake a stick at. "Reel To Reel" showcases Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra in fine form with a return to the library sound that's made him a sought-after musician and producer. Here's a few words from the "Tiger" himself describing his new album: "I love making records. Music is my drug and I'm a junkie. A Funky Junkie"! I once again return to my Ping Pong Orchestra guise making more cinefunk jams. From Blaxploitation ("Daylight Robbery) to Spaghetti Western ("Song for Ennio) and Motorcycle psych rock ("Biker Chick") it's all in there. 'Reel to Reel' uses some of my favorite instruments and sounds ie: vibes, double bass, waterphone, alto flute, Marxophone and fuzz guitar." Tanya Morgan - You & What Army CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22259 Tanya Morgan team up with HiPNOTT Records to finally release the CD version of their previously digital only album from last year! You & What Army featured Exile and Astronote and now the new CD version includes 3 bonus remixes produced by member Von Pea. K-Kruz - Beat Sniper 2LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22138 Chicago beatsmith, K-Kruz, precisely targets his return and strikes back with his 3rd solo installment "Beat Sniper," an on-point rapid- fire collection of instrumental beats spanning the past decade of his production career, from his emergence onto the hip-hop production scene via Diverse's critically acclaimed "One A.M." album boasting the standout choice cut "Blind Man", as well as multiple 12" Singles and B-Sides for Chicago record label Chocolate Industries. A worthy resume with additional production credit (Diverse "Time" track) on the Urban Renewal Program album, one half of the hip-hop group Modill and other known Chicago hip hop artists (e.g., Longshot). "Beat Sniper" continues the beat journey from his now sold out Time EP & well received Look Honest EP feat: Steve Spacek, with 21 soulful boom bap instrumental hip hop tracks via digital release and a 19 track 2LP vinyl pressing limited to 250 units worldwide. The Cinematic Orchestra - In Motion #1 2LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22144 Now on vinyl! Jason Swinscoe of The Cinematic Orchestra has long been intrigued by the link between vision and sound. From TCO's re-soundtracking of Man With A Movie Camera, through his "soundtrack to an imaginary film," Ma Fleur, to his band's name itself, Swinscoe has continued to pick away at the issues and emotions found at this intersection. With In Motion #1 he continues this process by inviting some of his favorite musicians and producers to provide soundtracks to or musical re-imaginings of seminal work by great avant garde film- makers. Kool G Rap & DJ Polo - Road to the Riches 4LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=12331 Kool G Rap and DJ Polo's 1989 debut album, "Road to the Riches," is available again at long last, this time as a 2-disc set with 12-inch versions, remixes and instrumentals on the second disc. All tracks are digitally re-mastered, and the deluxe digi-pak comes with a 24 page booklet including all the lyrics and liner notes written by Fly Ty, Mr. Magic, George DuBose and The Kool Genius of Rap himself, plus additional photography by George DuBose. "Road to the Riches" has withstood the test of time, and will always be recognized as a cohesive project that demonstrates lyrical and production ability, as well as artistic chemistry. G Rap's knife-edged rhymes -- delivered with the hardest-sounding lisp in hip- hop -- tear through Marley Marl's productions and DJ Polo's scratching with all the ferocity of a pit bull devouring a piece of meat. Marl’s imaginative sampling gleans from all sorts of unexpected sources, like the harmonica from Area Code 615's "Stone Fox Chase," the odd phrasings of Kraftwerk's "Trans-Europe Express" (no one used it like this), and the burbling synths from Gary Numan's "Cars" (remember, this was the late 80s). This project has been thought out, done right and handled with care and we sincerely hope you enjoy it. IG Culture - Soulful Shanghai CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22218 IG Culture has been releasing music and albums since the early 90's and Soulful Shanghai is a continuation and tribute to jazz and the civil rights of Black Jazz and Strata East. It's a continuation of the spiritual funk of the Mizell brothers and the spoken word of Gil Scott Heron. It's a descendant of hip hop and the resistance of the Zulu Nation, a distant cousin of techno and Juan Atkins' deep space explorations. Musically, Soulful Shanghai mixes it all up while still making sense. Selected vocalists ID 4 Windz and John Robinson of Scienz Of Life, Georgia Anne Muldrow, and New Jersey residents Bilal Salaam and K Banger lock IG's skewed beats together. The hip hop feel is punctuated by plenty of live jazz tracks, with dedications to the Mizell brothers and Harry Whitaker keeping the swing spiritual. Perhaps the centerpiece of the album is the live rework of "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised," with a 2012 lyrical update by Niles 'Asheber' Hailstones, reminding us that images of riots and unrest stay the same, and they keep happening around the world, round the clock, from decade to decade. Lorn - Ask the Dust 2LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22104 Specially pressed 180 gram vinyl with download code, the first 200 in circulation are smokey grey color vinyl! Lorn returns with a new full-length album, his debut on Ninja Tune, and it's a huge stride forward since Nothing Else (released on Brainfeeder, June 2010). Listening back to his first album, Lorn says it now seems "cold and strict." Ask The Dust, on the other hand, is "haunted, oily, smeared," and with this description he captures something of the intensely felt, visceral aliveness of the music. Ol' Dirty Bastard - Return to the 36 Chambers 2LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22160 Standard regular 2LP re-issue of ODB's classic now nicely priced and not completely bare bones as this set also includes an 18" x 24" poster of the iconic album cover and detailed liner notes.! Premier & Bumpy Knuckles - KoleXXXion Instrumentals 2LP http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22222 This is a limited release LP pressing so don't miss your chance to get your hands on the instrumentals created by DJ Premier from his collab earlier this year with Bumpy Knuckles! Various Artists - Complex CD http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22199 Complex is Lex Records' 10th anniversary album featuring a special collection of tracks. Originally released on limited picture disc for Record Store Day earlier this year, now available on CD.
