They needed to bring in a producer to bring it back to vintage SOM. to keep them Recording wize on track. yes he made the beats. But he also produced all the records. he told em wea 2 jump in. Wea 2 start spittin adlibs. he was trying his best to make a new twist to the old 93 til style.

I've been listening to Prince Paul since '89 and love all his work. I never implied I wasn't happy about him producing the album. I was just curious (since, you know, you have to pay for beats, and probably a lot for Prince Paul beats) if anyone had any idea how they came to hook-up. I'll be sure to be more specific next time, wow.
