Various Artists - Project Mooncircle 10th Anniversary Box Set 4LP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21827
Project: Mooncircle, as the name reveals, has been on a journey to
the moon since day one, exploring the frontiers of music and art,
always looking for new discoveries and giving a different perspective
to look at the earth. In its 10 year history the label has published
roughly 100 releases by equally as many artists from all corners of
this globe and, therefore, the selection of sounds on this
compilation represents the development of the label from the past,
present and going into the future. Some of the artists featured on
this compilation have been a part of the label from its very
beginning, like CYNE, Manuvers and Jahbitat, whose song will be the
last one he produced and published under this moniker, while others,
like Robot Koch, fLako and Long Arm, are outstanding examples of its
growing popularity and success. Furthermore, the box also features an
exceptional selection of close musical friends and inspirational
artists like Jehst, Dday One, Kwala and Ichiro_, just to name a few.
The logo and artwork represent someone who was very close to the
label, especially in the early years but unfortunately passed on and
whom this box is dedicated to. Featured on the compilation are
artists such as Mike Slott x Diane Badie, CYNE, Sweatson Klank aka
Take, Jahbitat, Robot Koch, fLako, Jehst, Beat Butcha, Long Arm,
Kelpe, Pavel Dovgal, Blossom, Daisuke Tanabe, Dday One, Inner
Science, Substantial, Arts The Beatdoctor, Rain Dog, Kidkanevil +
Microkorg by Dorian Concept, John Robinson, Sorrow, Rumpistol, The
Red Baron, Christoph El' Truento, 40 Winks, Sina., 1000Names, DZA,
Ichiro_, EAN, Tom Dicicco, Headshotboyz, Graciela Maria, Gards From
KC, Sekuoia of Kilimanjaro, Sense of The Q4, Sneaky, I.V.A., Empt,
John LaMonica, Mike Gao, Bambooman, Manuvers, Krts, Kwala, Soosh,
Memotone, Sun Glitters, Called Understandable Souls & Szenario. The
limited box includes 2 white & 2 black vinyl LP's with 32 tracks, 13
additional digital bonus tracks and a poster (with digital download
code) all in a specially designed box that features a special light-
reflecting varnish, which makes this truly a collectors and music
lovers item.

Please note: due to the weight of this box set there may be an
additional shipping charge, depending on the shipping address and
class of mail for your order. We will contact you for approval of any
extra charges before shipping.

NEW RELEASES:

Bassnectar - Vava Voom CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21917
From the label description: Bassnectar is the brainchild of Lorin
Ashton, and it exists as an open-sourced musical project that is as
diverse as it is heavy, as raw as it is meticulous, and as fierce as
it is imaginary. Spanning the spectrum of sonic style, the music
covers every genre imaginable and smashes it all into a synthesis of
intense, wobbling basslines and hypnotic soundscapes. Proof that
American dubstep can be just as good as the UK's by combining sound
and force with weight, the Bassnectar experience engulfs the senses.
It is as physical as it is auditory; the adventure has no rules, no
limitations, and no hesitation in fusing the familiar with the
strange or the classic with the cutting edge. For fans of dubstep,
free form heavy electronic and hip hop. Featuring Lupe Fiasco and Amp
Live.

Billy Woods - History Will Absolve Me CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21924
First billy woods solo record in 8 years, since The Chalice in 2004 &
Camouflage in 2002. Physical album is a limited quantity collectors
item, featuring the Director's Cut with a full 20-page lyric book and
two bonus tracks available for download with purchase. billy woods is
one half of the critically acclaimed group, Super Chron Flight
Brothers, and member of the Reavers.

Cold Chillin' - Top 4 CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21899
Cold Chillin' Records released some of the most important music in
the golden age of hip hop from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. A
producer/crew label founded by manager Tyrone Williams and run by Len
Fichtelberg (d. November 4, 2010), and then with the help of
legendary NYC DJ/radio personality Mr. Magic (d. October 2, 2009),
most of the label's releases were by members of the Juice Crew, a
loosely knit group of artists centered around producer/DJ Marley
Marl. Marley along with artists like Biz Markie, M.C. Shan, Kool G
Rap and DJ Polo and Roxanne Shante released classic single after
classic single, many becoming life long hip hop measuring sticks
(Shan's "The Bridge," Marley's & Craig G.'s "Droppin' Science" and
Kool G Rap's "Ill Street Blues") that have set the standard for rap
artists of today. The ever charismatic Biz Markie even gained
worldwide commercial success with his quirky anthems "Just A Friend"
and "Spring Again" and today has a coveted acting spot on the hit
children's television show Yo Gabba Gabba! on Nick Jr. All these
gems, 15 in all, from Cold Chillin's Top 4 artists, are collected
together here in this one handy go to package.

Devonwho - Strangebrew 12" EP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21687
Four tracks of instrumental awesomeness on this brand new EP from L.A
based via Portland producer Devonwho. Synths and G funk vibes in the
vein of Dam-Funk are the order of the day here. "Strangebrew" and
"Sleet" zip along with their low-slung bass and melodic purple keys
while on the flip "Cactus" takes the pace down a bit. Slow jamz with
a fast feel, rounded off with a fresh rework of the title track from
fellow West Coast funkateer by the Bay Area's B Bravo. Comes with
download.

Doomstarks (MF Doom & Ghostface) - Victory Laps 12"
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21839
Regular edition vinyl (previously released as a picture disk)
features the brand new track "Victory Laps" from DOOM and Ghostface,
plus the remix by DOOM and Madlib, and the instrumentals to both
tracks. This 12" marks the first official single from one of the most
highly-anticipated collaborations in recent memory, the full-length
DOOMSTARKS album, coming soon on Nature Sounds.

Hawthorne Headhunters - Myriad of Now CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21897
St. Louis, Missouri, is the genesis for Coultrain, Black Spade and
the group Hawthorne Headhunters. Black Spade was the first to migrate
out west, where he promptly met producer Proh Mic at the famed Do-
Over in LA. The two hit it off and began toying with music, soon
bringing Cedric Norah aka I,Ced, another St. Louis expat in LA, into
the fold. The collective was taking shape and drew their moniker from
'Ced's residence in Hawthorne, California. The St. Louis natives
reached out to their old comrade Coultrain and he eventually moved
out to LA as well. Members of the group liken their creative process
to jazz musicians; organic and instinctual, drawing from whatever
influences they feel, and writing about whatever is on their mind.
They began plotting a full length record, but Proh Mic and 'Ced
decided to pursue solo endeavors instead of focusing on the group,
and 'Train and Spade became the official torch-bearers of Hawthorne
Headhunters. The duo went in the studio and Myriad of Now was
recorded, a 14-track collection of Funk, Electro, R&B and more that
speaks on spirituality, sexuality and everything in between. Carrying
on the lineage of Black music dating back to the Blues and the
inception of Jazz, Hawthorne Headhunters meld influences together to
break new ground.

Homeboy Sandman - Chimera 12" EP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21804
Homeboy Sandman's second EP on Stone Throw. Add six more dope tracks
with production by Exile, Paul White and J57 to Homeboy Sandman's
name and what will hopefully become a full length follow up to one of
the best albums of 2010. The vinyl release has the lyrics printed in
spot-gloss on the front and back covers.

I Am Many & Logik Proof - S.I.N.Strength In Numbers CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22005
From Creative Juices Music, I Am Many formerly Many Styles, teams up
with producer Logik Proof for a brand new full length after taking a
slight hiatus since his 2005 debut. Featuring a track with Nems.

J Rawls - Liquid Crystal Project 3 CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21908
Multitalented producer J Rawls is best known for his work in Hip-Hop
(producing "Brown Skin Lady" for Black Star, founding indie Hip-Hop
favorite Lone Catalysts, releasing albums like last year's The Hip-
Hop Affect), but his skills extend far beyond the genre. In 2005 he
began to explore neo-soul with The Essence Of Soul, and he's since
released two albums from his acclaimed Jazz/Hip-Hop fusion band The
Liquid Crystal Project. Now, Rawls is ready to return to the "Jazz
Hop" genre he helped create with The Liquid Crystal Project 3. Like
previous Liquid Crystal albums, LCP3 explores sounds, beats, and
rhythms with jazz instrumentation alongside an undeniable Hip-Hop
influence. Tributes to De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest highlight
the seamless genre-hopping, which mixes elements of Jazz, Hip-Hop,
Soul, Funk, and even Downtempo. "This time we expanded our sound
using more musical interpretation and more vibrant sounds," explains
Rawls. With production from J Rawls and B Jazz (producer for Eric
Roberson, K'naan, etc.), plus a special appearance by onetime George
Duke and Ramsey Lewis trumpeter Pharez Whitted, The Liquid Crystal
Project 3 is a smooth-like-butter musical experience that defies
classification. As Rawls puts it: "It's just good music."

Jameszoo - Guanyin Psittacines 10" EP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21973
Four track EP from Dutch producer Jameszoo, a blend between spiritual
jazz and modern electronic experimental beatmaking. Jameszoo's
forthcoming album will be an ode to Brazilian music.

Kev Brown - Random Joints CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21840
An early/unmastered version of Random Joints first appeared back in
09, but fans around the globe have long asked for a proper vinyl/CD
release and Kev is proud to answer the call with a product that will
satisfy new and longtime fans alike. The album features a strong
selection of tracks produced by the one and only Kev Brown, with
appearances by many of Kev's longtime friends and collaborators such
as Raheem Devaughn, yU, Ken Starr, Sean Born and more. Random Joints
was mastered by K-Def and features artwork by the one and only Joe
Buck.

Livin Dead - Album In A Day CDR
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22012
Friday the 13th release from Livin Dead, a project they recorded in a
day! Their sleep depraved and intoxicated minds always bring out some
interesting lyrics.

Moka Only & Ayatollah - Bridges CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21909
Moka Only is one of Canada's most celebrated rappers with growing
discography of almost 100 releases, while Ayatollah is one of the top
producers on the independent hip hop scene in the US, having worked
with the likes of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Masta Ace, Ghostface, and
more. Now they're coming together for the new album Bridges, with
Tollah on the boards and Moka on the mic. With Moka assuming his
alter-ego Ron Contour and Tollah's funky creations providing the
backdrop, it's an unexpected but surprisingly effective combination
straight out of hip-hop fans' fantasies.

Murmur Breeze - Foreshore Reverie LP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21999
Murmur Breeze are an alt-rap duo who seamlessly combine the
traditions of both music and art in their surrealistic melange of
creative compositions. A place where music, literature and visual art
meet, coming together to describe an entirely cohesive, yet dream-
like world, which so closely mirrors our own, but still pushes
forward into unknown and perhaps impossible territories, guiding the
listener on a path which takes in both the familiar and the
mysteries, the comic and the tragic, the starkly real and the
disorientatingly mysterious. With each release being a potent brew of
overwhelming proportions. Twelve songs seamlessly woven together to
transport you on a maddeningly surreal journey through the
psychedelic soundscapes and disorientating prose which AbSUrd and
James P Honey both provide in ascending waves. Featuring a host of
collaborators, the album is awash with a staggering amount of
wonderful musical turns and closely cut lyrical observations, deftly
maneuvering between the bitingly satirical and the wildly theatrical.
Auxiliary musical accompaniment comes in the form of performances
from Jamie Romain, Michael Rea and Nadia D' Alo, whilst extra lyrical
turns are taken by the mighty Mildew, Babel Fishh and jamesreindeer,
and the whole album carefully guided through the mixing stages by
jamesreindeer.

Nems - Coney Soprano CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22004
Brand new mixtape collecting Nems guest appearances on other albums
and other material.

Parker & The Numberman - Clockwork Slang CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=22001
A brand new EP from one of San Diego's best kept secrets and produced
by Mr. Ridley!

Various Artists - Self Sacrifice CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21800
If you've been sleeping on all the dope releases coming out of
Oddisee's Washington DC based label Mello Music Group then...well,
you've been asleep! Seems like 2012 is the year for the label as this
is like the tenth release this year. Not to mention the strong
releases we're still bumping from last year. Self Sacrifice is kind
of the ultimate introduction to the label and the artists on it! A
great compilation featuring top notch talent and guest appearances
that the label's buzz has been attracting.

Various Artists - Soul Cal 2LP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=21923
15 rare and unreleased funky disco and modern soul tracks from 1971-
1982, including songs never issued on the long out-of-print Soul Cal
12" single series. The double gatefold LP is presented with a perfect
bound 80 page book printed on 150 gsm uncoated paper stock. The book
is filled with rare photos and each band's story.
