Attractive Sin (Dope album) Teaser Review

I've been lucky enough to get a full version Attractive Sin and have to say that it's a great album!! I know I might seem a bit biased since I've enjoyed a bunch of the the Del produced albums, and haven't gained any friends for my opinions on those matters but I've listened to it two times in a row now and really think this will be well loved among Hiero fans. I 'd talk about all the songs I'm feeling right now (Charlie Brown, Apply It & See, 1520 Sedwick , Show's Over, Front Like You Know, as a few) but there are so many ! I think both the beats and Del are on point for the whole album . For those that are wondering, in terms of the two songs we've heard before , Get to Drillin is the same as the version from the Del leak pack (better mix/remastered) but Activated Sludge is a different version from the version we've heard, this beat is much more mellow than the original (del produced ?) version. Thought I 'd get the first review in , it's DOPE !

The album clocks in at 43 minutes, so they could've thrown "If Ya Don't" and "Bring It " on it too but that's just a small/meaningless complaint.

Leave em wanting more I guess !

HIERO !

I am moderately excited for this release. I have a feeling that it will be much better than all of these releases he has been digitally been putting out on bandcamp and such, yet lyrically I am getting burnt out on all of the DZL, Sir DZL, DZL this and that in his verses. I wish he would spend a little more time on his lyrics and rap about something with more substance than his name and whatever. I think the production will be a 8 or 9 out of 10, and the lyrics/rhyming/flow of Del will be a 5 out of 10. I will definatly buy it and hope to prove myself wrong, but I don't want to get my hopes up to high.

I thought Get To Drillin was a great track up until Del started talking in it and playing two characters / doing voices and all. That ruined it for me. Activated Sludge i didn't care for. The two new bonus tracks are ok. Not great, but ok.

I want to say they were both on the Golden Era preview file that he had available for download at some point. They were in a rar file he loaded to sendspace last year. I can upload that file again if you want. Let me know.
