search function problems

yo, first thing's first i gotta give you guys props on the new board! it's lookin' mighty clean!

my only gripe so far is the search function and its lack of functionality. i look up simple words like 'rjd2' and nothing comes up. it doesn't seem to register short words.

and i know you recently created an 'archive' page but is there a way to create a search function there? or at least organize the threads chronologically? in its present form you have to search every page of the archive with the control 'f' command. is there a way to search the entire archive at once?

keep up the good work! i know you guys dedicate a lot of time and effort into this site so don't think it's going unnoticed! these are just some suggestions.

try it again...the minimum search length is now 3

the program wasn't designed that way...but you can use the normal search engine to search the archive.
