I hoped (pun intended) this album would shut the Sage Francis haters up..yeah Sage does some nerdy shit..but this album was ill..he had a lot of good lines and always throws in lyrics from classic old school joints, I mean making a hook from Mase-O saying My Tolerance Level has now peaked and it;'s time for some heads to get flown....who does that and Yes Joe Beats blessed Sage for this album, lots of quirky samples and dope breaks... imo..one of 2003's best and unfairly slept on.

I'm saying it doesn''t bother me being called a hater, I hate eminem & d12, 50 cent and the goon unit, jay z, missy elliot, ja rule, dmx etc,...and it's my choice..just like it's your choice to hate Sage you have your reasons...but there a lot of people that wouldn;'t even bother to check the Non Prophets album becuase of a few verses they heard on some Anticon shit..etc...etc...

hope isn't cuttin it for me. maybe it's a headphone album instead of a car album. i've listened to it in the car and i haven't gotten into it. i like sage and i have other albums but this one just sounds kinda flat.

It takes alot of listening to get this album into focus. I think it did it for me, it adds to the many flavors bumpin in my trunk. Sage gets really " eccentric esoteric fundementalistic", especially when I spark one. "For those who like light confusing metaphors and similes." Personally I cant recite the songs to this album completely, but Sage tears it down though. Sick ass dude!

funny thing is when i first started to listen to it i wasn't feeling it. then after a couple listens i LOVE the cd! Also I usualy listen to it at work with my headphones(i'm on a computer all day). Funny thing is i try to listen to it in my car and for some reason i always take it out! so for me it is a headphone CD that makes my head bop at work like right now;) :D
