Apparently if you pre-order the new EP from Brother Ali from sandox or hiphopsite.com, you get a free poster and a CD version of his debut album "Rites of Passage" (never released on CD, only cassette and has been out of print for years) for free.

...... yea, i ordered mine with the quickness, i suggest you do the same.

I already got a copy of Rites of Passage on cd but would like to get a cleaner sounding version so I was thinking of ordering from hiphopsite.com. I've never ordered from there so what are people's experience with it? Good, bad or whatever let me know.

i've ordered from both. sanbox takes about a month sometimes, & hip hop site would take about a week but I have had a few instances where they get in a serious lag zone. My best on-line shopping is with access, once you get past that whole ordeal with the Creative Differences, Street Legends, & What Have u hold ups. But between the two, Id order from hiphopsite (it's the lesser of two evils)

Damn....that sucks. I think undergroundhiphop.com is doing the offer too, it just isnt listed. But on the forums one of the shop people posted up that Rites of Passage will be part of the deal. I've ordered once from there, it took two weeks for my stuff to arrive.

HipHopSite.com is horrible. I ordered Creative Differences from there for $15, since it said it'd have an included autographed poster. It also said it would ship "on or before 4/9/03". It shipped about a week later, with an unautographed poster.

They did refund me $5, but big shit. I'd discourage from these bastards.

jvini if you searched your box well for the paper explaining that the posters were lost somehow in the mail you coulda sent them and email and recieved autographed grouch making perfect sense tape..

As much as i like hiphopsite and the people that work at the store in vegas everytime i order from them i always get it late...I order from sandbox often and always recieve everything on time..

I have never had a problem with sandboxautomatic before, but I know people that have. I guess it is like russion roulette with them.

But I am copping the CD at the show insread becuase he gets all the money from that.

fuck sandbox... i ordered 3 CD's over 2 weeks ago, still waiting. i mean, i like their layout, simple design with music samples... but seriously, it takes all of 10 minutes to get an order processed... what the fuck?

So judging by everyones comments on here both hiphopsite and sandboxautomatic suck monkey balls. I'm assuming access is pretty good since no one has mentioned them.

ive also heard horror stories about hip hop site. I have never ordered from those guys.

Ive made numerous orders through sandbox and yes it does take about 2.5 to 3 weeks to get your order and it's hard to get a hold of them if you hvae questions about your order. But you can't beat there deals and they always got some type of crazy specials!

another good one which i wish was having the same deal would b giantpeach they got top knotch customer service and fast shipping just like access!:)

You can always order it from the Rhymesayers store Fifth Element (612.377.0044) in Minneapolis. They will do phone orders with a credit card and you get the special.

Access Hip Hop is getting the same deal from Rhymesayers - if you order the Champion CD, you get the Rites of Passage CD as a bonus (while supplies last).
