Twista Question?

I've heard a buzz about this guy Twista's new album. Haven't heard it yet so I have no clue what this guy sounds like. I was wondering is this is the same guy as Tung Twista way back in the day or if these are 2 totally different artists.

Anyone know about this?

i dont know who tung twista is i dont think but twista has been around for days. his adrenile rush cd is ill...chi town fast rap. i dont know why or how hes all of a sudden a mainstream hit. that song with jamie foxx is complete trash

yes Twista is the same guy as Tung Twista.... Originally he was the first artist signed to Loud records. He used to have the worlds guiness book o records for fastest rapper but not anymore ... I guess some other cat in Chicago beat the record recently ... but yeah his new album is Dope I go cop dat... all that information is from the interview for the december issue of Thick Magazine.... www.thickonline.com has a review up there too check it!!!

Thank for the info guys! Didn't realize that guy was still around. Thought he had only that one album. Had that first album on cassette and now on CD...was good at the time but nothing compared to what cats are putting out these days. Was good nonetheless.

I seem to remember that back in the day they slowed his shit down and he really wasn't saying anything at all, just a bunch of cat in the hat type rhymes but hella fast. This is why I'm not really a huge fan of his. Also I don't think he was in Do or Die I think he was just featured, but I could be wrong.

Dude can rap fast, but there is just something about him that I don't like, I can't put my finger on it.
