Some interesting things I found over at DJX:

Regarding a project called Central Services: "people have no idea what me and el are about to do to the world.
one hint...
its not rap.

love camu"

***If it's not rap it must be hip hop - sounds like Camu's been taking classes from Theory!***

"murs 3:16 (produced entirely of 9th wonder from the mighty little brother crew)= murs absolute best album to date (imo). straight classic shit. 10 tracks, no filler. you have to hear it to believe it."

***Only 10 tracks? That's short, but as long as it's good...***

"rjd2 (untitled)...what this cat did for soul he is about to do for rock...i'll leave you with that thought."

***Huh, sounds like it could be interesting. I got real tired of RJ's sound...sounds like he's changing it up.***

I hope they do a lot more stuff with C-Rayz, he seems to be the real sleeper on their roster.

Aesop Rock's got the deep stuff locked up, and as much as you may call him a Nerd Rapper I think the guys damn talented

Every one knows what Murs does, the guys quite literally a Living Legend. A style like noone alse and an extremely good rapper. (You gotta love a guy that makes a song dedicated to all the girls who sucked his dick)

Mr Lifs good in that he's a political, intellectual rapper with a distinctive style and good flow

Cannibal Ox is another damn good crew signed onto Def Jux

RJD2 I can see as becoming a legendary producer when all is said and done.

El-P's starting the label that looks like it'll be pretty damn good for a LONG time.

I love Def Jux man, its my goal in life to be a Jukie lol

I saw that Vast's upcoming solo album is going to be on Chocolate, not Def Jux. That's a real disappointment - I hate Chocolate and said I'd never buy anything from them after I bought a 12" that was the worst pressing I've ever seen (and exchanged it and got an equally crappy pressing). But, I dig Vast so I'll go back on my word - I just won't buy it on vinyl (not that I would have anyway).

Oh wow, I normally can't stand much hiphop these days but I'm gonna have to check out that Murs junk for sure. 9th wonder ripped Nas's album.

Ugh, I just listened to a clip off the upcoming DJXP3 - "Aquatic" by 4th Pyramid - and it was garbage! I think it should be illegal to use the "bong" sound in music from now on.
