Comedy! What exactly did he say to that heezy?
Also, Eyedea has on the same busted Nike's he wore last year at the Boulder show. He was kicking free's and was asking the crowd for topiccs. Some dude yelled out "New shoes dog!" and Eyedea was like "I wore my old ones just to fuck with you"
Pointless info, but that reminded me......
Peace.

Well... I can't quote him on exactly what he said but it was something to the effect of, "Yo, Get the fuck off the stage now."
Short and to the point. He had already poured a whole bottle of water on her about 5 minutes before the photo was shot. Couldn't capture that moment... woulda been dope if I did though.

I saw that bitch after the show take some dudes (not naming any names) back to her car so that she could play agent 'skully'. I swear some of these hoochie groupies are some hardcore fans. I got some pics of that trick too. I'll post em up later...
that's pretty funny right there buddy.

Yo, this room is small as hell, it only fits like 300 total! The Legends were amazed at how small the stage was. I guess it made for more of a compact energy vibe but still, next time they come, they need to do it at a larger venue. Dallas cats hate mainstream music, so The Legends are truly apprecited by a lot of people down here.
My homeboy is working out deal to have the 3MG come out here, maybe to the Canyon Club @ the Bronco Bowl which holds about 8 or 9 hundred!
no estimated time on this....

Rezzervoir Dogg,
Not sure if you came to the show that my brother and I (Digital187) put on in 2000 or not.
We booked the Ball Room part of the Gypsy Tea Room which holds mad heads. (1500 or so)
The turnout was about the same as last Sunday's show without the people that were turned away. So it looked a little empty in the place and we were out a grip of cash.
A suitable venue would be one that holds around 400-500 people.
The Legends' Popularity around here has grown since then so I believe that there would have been a better turnout if we would have done the same show that we did in 2000 this year. Part of the subpar turnout was due to Tornado Warnings and scary Dallasites and their phobias of bad weather.
Back then the scene was real funny and there was not that much support for independent Hip Hop in Dallas. It seems to be getting healthier due to people persistantly putting shows together.
Hopefully one day it will not be a problem to worry about turnouts and promoters may actually start making money.

The reason why I said that the Canyon Club would be good is that there is plenty of parking and easy access. Plus my homeboy got the hook-up on the costs. About how much does the Ball Room cost for a night??

Back in 2000 it cost us $1500 for the night. Today I believe it costs at least $2000 for the night. It has quicky become Dallas' premiere spot for live music acts. I also hear that there is a bar guarantee now as well. Definitely not the budget spot.
Lemme know if you have any other questions about the whole process...
