Dope shit.

Sounds like Al Green, not the Reverand Al Green.

He got his old producer (Willie Mitchell = legend) to oversee everything.... so it sounds like his old shit.

PLUS, Royal Horns did all the brass on the album

PLUS, it's on Blue Note!


Buy this album.

I haven't even opened it yet, but according to bluenote, it's a little "jazzier" (i don't know how that can be)....... i still bump Astral Weeks and Moondance constantly...... In fact, i made a real sick beat out of the piano refrain on Moondance, but i'll never use it on anything.... only because it's so blantently obvious..... but it's got a crazy time signature... like 5/8 or something.... if thats even a possible combo.
