i dunno...

i was just being a dickhead... you know... are you serious/sirius?

but regardless of his birthplace and/or places of residence... i (and many others) would definitely consider him to be "from the bay" as he lived in the northbay and the eastbay, got a lot of exposure with d.u. (many of whom are not natives of the bay) who claim to be based in the bay, and represented for the bay in his music, his slang, etc.
